“And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” – Matthew 25:40 (KJV)

The Lord Jesus Christ has made every born-again Christian His brethren. We are joint heirs with Him; therefore, He wants us to be mindful of our relationship with one another and treat one another as brethren (Romans 8:17).

Beloved, we are one family with Christ, and He lives in whoever believes in Him and confesses Him as Lord and personal Savior. Therefore, whatever you do to anyone in Christ, be it good or evil, you have done it to Christ Jesus. No wonder He asked Paul why he was persecuting Him (Acts 9:4–5). Apparently, Paul before his conversion was arresting Christians and putting them in prison (Acts 9:1–2).

Beloved, we are the body of Christ; hence let us treat one another with love, comfort, and peace (Ephesians 5:30). When we do this, our Lord Jesus Christ will be happy with us and keep blessing us. This will enhance the unity of our fellowship with one another. On the other hand, denying one another love, comfort, and peace will destroy the fellowship we have with one another. Praise the Lord! Keep the fellowship alive!

Prayer Point: Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for making me a member of Your body. I’m so grateful; therefore, I will do my part to promote love, comfort, and peace among my brethren everywhere I go. Please let this become my lifestyle so that many people can be drawn to You and Your Kingdom will be populated. Amen!
