“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” – John 3:17 (KJV)
Knowing that you are sent into the world is the beginning of fulfilling your commission as a soul winner. When mankind sinned against God, He sent His Son in the person of Jesus Christ to die for their sin.
Jesus Christ came with the good news of salvation to draw all men to God. He did not condemn anyone He encountered, because condemnation would draw mankind away from Him and His mission would not be achieved. Likewise, as Christians we have been saved and sent into the world to reconcile the world to God (2 Corinthians 5:18–20).
Remember the words of our Lord Jesus Christ when He said that just as the Father had sent Him, even so was He sending us (John 20:21). We are here not to condemn the world, because the world is already in sin.
Our mission is to act like Christ Jesus; let us show the world that Jesus loves everyone. Let us show our love to the world through our prayers, ministering to people’s needs, and sharing the gospel with them. As we do that, the light of the gospel will reach everyone to bring deliverance to many in the world.
It is said that action speaks louder than words, so as we back the preaching of the gospel by showing kindness to our audience, they will give attention to the gospel, accept Jesus Christ, and become part of God’s family. Praise the Lord! You are an overcomer!
Prayer Point: My faithful and loving Jesus Christ, thank You for saving me and sending me into the world to preach the gospel to the world. Please resource me financially so that I can back the gospel with ministering to the physical needs of my audience.
Through this, they will know that You care for both their spiritual and physical needs, and they will easily accept You as their Lord and personal Savior. Amen!
