“And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” – John 1:5 (KJV)

Light will continue to confound the imagination of darkness because Jesus is the Light of the world. His coming put all the regions of darkness in disarray and a state of perplexity.

Jesus Christ is always in control and in charge of every situation. In His ministry on Earth, He seized every opportunity to preach the gospel, cast out devils, heal the sick, and make life comfortable for human beings (Acts 10:38). It is the same legacy He left for all who will believe in Him (Mark 16:15–18).

Dear beloved, if you are born again, you are the light of the world, but the one who is not born again is regarded as darkness. As light, you ought to shine in goodness, righteousness, kindness, forgiveness, joy, and holiness (Matthew 5:14–16). You should represent all the nature and qualities that Jesus Christ stood for.

The people who don’t know Jesus Christ should marvel when they encounter you and wish to be like you, thereby drawing them to Christ. Maintain your position as light; keep shining irrespective of the challenges you are going through, and Jesus Christ will exalt you.
Hallelujah! Arise and shine!

Prayer Point: Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for me making the light of the world. Please always continue to empower me to keep shining. Amen!
