“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.” – Proverbs 31:30 (KJV)
Today all over the world, people are celebrating love. What then make complete love as far as women are concerned? Who did St. Valentine died for? Knowing the fear of God is the beginning of your greatness.
God is the creator of all things—He decides who should be a man and who should be a woman. This is a divine prerogative from the Elohim, the creator of destinies. If you have been created a woman, don’t seek to change your gender for anything; love who you are and appreciate what God has given you.
The opening scripture throws light on a vital quality that a woman should have: the fear of God. Beloved, that fear is to hate evil, and love what God loves (Proverbs 8:13).
This fear of God seeks to tell the woman to find her place in life and fulfill it to the glory of God. It is not only a place of beauty and favor, but a place of humility, diligence, thoughtfulness, patience, service, support, and procreation.
A woman who hates evil loves God and loves people and shall be praised. If these praises are coming to you as a result of your good works, please continue to humble yourself so that pride does not bring you down. Hallelujah!
Dear beloved, are you a woman? Have you found your place in life? As you meditate on the Word of God day and night, practicing it, loving God and people, and fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit, He will find a place for you to minister and be a blessing to many, like Mary (Luke 1:28–37). Hallelujah! God bless you and Happy Val Day!
Prayer Point: My loving and faithful Father, thank You for creating me a woman. I have made up my mind to love You, love people, hate evil, and do what is good. Please lead and guide me to use my beauty, favor, and skills to bless lives.
I pray for all women and men to find their place in You and become a blessing to You and their fellow human beings in Jesus’ name. Amen!
