“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,” – 1 Peter 1:3 (KJV)
Hope is the confident expectation in an object of worship: in this case, our object of worship is Elohim and Jesus Christ of Nazareth (John 4:23–24). This is the only lively hope of heaven and earth.
The world has fallen because of the sin of Adam and Eve; therefore, many people have put their hope in what they have described as a god who is not Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Those kinds of hope can only lead to disappointment and failure (Luke 16:19–31).
Believe in the One True God who Has revealed Himself in the person of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Beloved, there can only be one resurrection, which is the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (Matthew 28:1–7). It is the only sign God Has given to the world that true spirituality and the hope of resurrecting one day lie in only one person—Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Dear beloved, let us not be deceived by the numerous religions of the world; it is Satan’s tool to deceive and divert attention from the One true God, Elohim, and the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Beloved, whatever you are hoping for, let it be in Christ Jesus and your hope shall be fulfilled. No wonder His Word says Christ in you, the hope of Glory (Colossians 1:27). Hallelujah! Keep your hope alive!
Prayer Point: My dear heavenly Father, thank You for giving me a lively hope in Christ Jesus. I keep this hope alive by rejoicing in Your Word, celebrating Jesus Christ every day because He is alive and will come again for the righteous of which I’m a member. Amen!
