“The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.” – Proverbs 10:28 (KJV)
The LORD is a righteous Father who desires good things for His children. One of the good things He has prepared for His children is a life full of gladness. This gladness is also rendered joy. No wonder the Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17).
Beloved, are you enjoying this life of gladness or joy? He said in the opening scripture that this life of gladness is tied to hope. Thus, you should not allow your hope in Christ die down; continually hope in the Lord. Remember that Christ in you is the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).
The Word of God has said that hope, faith, and love shall abide in the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 13:13).
As a Christian, encourage yourself in the Word of God to keep your hope, faith, and love in God alive. He has said every expectation of the wicked against you shall perish in the end. Therefore, if you are going through challenges purported by the wicked, let the opening Scripture inspire you to move on in your faith and you shall see the end of the wicked. Hallelujah!
Gladness is your portion and never allow the enemy to steal it from you. Keep walking in the joy of the Lord. God bless you!
