You have two days left in this year…it’s amazing how quickly 2019 has passed! In two days you will be given the blank calendar of a brand new year. I know that right now millions of people are going through their annual traditions of making New Year’s Resolutions. They resolve that this is the year they are going to get their needs met or find that soul mate. This is the year they are going to finally land that dream job.

Many of us enter each New Year with high and lofty ambitions about what the New Year is going to hold. But let me throw something at you – instead of a New Year’s Resolution for 2020 – why don’t we have a New Year’s Revolution instead! Did you know only 8% of Americans actually achieve their New Year’s Resolutions? That is staggering! You know why? Because you can never change something outwardly in your life until you are changed inwardly in your life. You don’t need a resolution – you need a revolution.

You need to be as the Bible says “Transformed by the renewing of your mind”. So what do you say as we start off this year together – let’s not focus as much on New Year’s Resolution as we do a New Year’s Revolution. Let the Holy Spirit start that revolution right now inside of you so you can become a new person in the New Year that starts on Wednesday. 2020 is going to be a fantastic year!
